Super Thanks is a new feature on YouTube. It allows fans to support their idols. Creators, on the other hand, get access to a new source of revenue.

From time to time,YouTube introduces new features on the platform to support and meet the expectations of creators.

In 2017, Superchat was introduced, in 2019, Superstickers, and now in 2021, it’s time for SuperThanks.

SuperThanks allows youtubers to earn extra money and also takes care of the creator-viewer relationship

Note: To use the SuperThanks feature, you need to participate in the YouTube affiliate program.

How does it work?

In addition to the standard likes, viewers can also express their reaction with a Super Thank You. The viewer then decides to make a one-time financial contribution to the favorite creator. After the transaction, information about the payment appears in the comments section and the author of the video can see who supported him/her.
